Uttar Pradesh Government announced the establishment of Surdas Brajbhasha Academy under the Language Department. In this happiness, a Braj language conservation seminar was organized in the auditorium located on the second floor of Geeta Shodh Sansthan and Rasleela Academy building. In the seminar, Braj language litterateurs, poets, scholars associated with Braj culture and officials of Doordarshan and All India Radio Mathura participated in the meeting. In the seminar chaired by Shri Nagendra Pratap, Chief Executive Officer of Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad, the scholars expressed happiness over the formation of Surdas Braj Language Academy. Also gave many important suggestions for the efficient functioning of the academy. The scholars made some expectations from the Academy for the preservation and promotion of Braj language in future.
